OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our educational philosophy is simple. We are dedicated to the belief that God created everyone with unique gifts and abilities and He has a plan for everyone. Therefore, without an education a student is missing part of God's plan. We are dedicated to the belief that every student can learn if provided the proper academic environment with emotional and spiritual supports; and every student has the right to be presented with opportunities to build their confidence and ability to become productive supporting members of our worldwide community. By developing our students academically, socially/emotionally, and spiritually our students will be ready for success not just in the academic arena but in our community at large. Through the curriculum, interaction with the teachers, and the workforce educational experience we will provide a well-rounded holistic educational experience for each student.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to give you HOPE and a FUTURE." Jer. 29:11-13

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to give you HOPE and a FUTURE." Jer. 29:11-13
Hope Academy would like to offer support services to improve educational outcomes for Foster Care and Foster Adoptive Families. " Studies have shown that children in foster care face an increased risk of grade retention, gaps in academic achievement, low high school graduation rates, and postsecondary enrollment" (https://sde.ok.gov/part-a-foster-care)
Hope Academy's individualized education planning, flexible schooling options, and culture of love and acceptance has proven very effective in helping kids from "hard places" graduate. Hope Academy specializes in students who typically have struggled in a traditional school setting . We welcome students who have been adopted through the state of Oklahoma from the OKDHS Foster Care system. We welcome all High Schooler's who are living in group homes, shelters, independent living homes, juveniles, adoptive homes, and in foster homes.
We understand that their can be educational gaps due to different moves and placements and we are committed to working with you to help you graduate and not only graduate but help give you the tools and skills necessary in todays workforce.
We understand that Trauma plays an important role in education and we are committed to support, navigate, and help you succeed in your healing process, educational goals, and independent Living Goals.
